The true story of the tortoise and the hare

Once there was a hare who believed he was the fastest creature in the Forrest
So he challenged every creature in the Forrest to a race but everyone knew his reputation
He challenged squirrel, who refused he said he was busy.
He challenged all the creatures of the Forrest but they were all suspiciously incapable.
One day a visitor to the Forrest arrived it was tortoise.
Tortoise had come to visit his friend squirrel.
Squirrel told tortoise all about Hare.
And so tortoise agreed to race hare with all the forest watching
Tortoise organised a great race and invited hare along to race.
On the day of the race hand tortoise waited on the starting line.
The starting pistol was fired and the race began.
The hare was quick off the mark.
The tortoise was slow.
The hare was quick across the field.
The tortoise was slow.
The hare won the race.
The moral of the story is this sometimes a person is arrogant because they are good and sometimes you loose the race because you are too slow.
